This Privacy Policy explains how WagadProperties.com, operated by Udaipur Ride, 2nd Floor, 32F, Sub City Center, Sector 8, Near Reti Stand, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, India ("we", "us"), collects, uses and protects your personal data. It is written in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Data we collect
- Account details: mobile number, first and last name, email address (optional) and your role (owner, broker, tenant or buyer).
- Listing details: property address, location on the map, price, photos, videos and other details you or our field agent add.
- Verification data: when our field agent verifies a property, the photos, videos, GPS location and checklist they record at the property.
- Messages and enquiries: chats, attachments, visit requests and enquiries sent through the Platform.
- Requirements: what you are looking for (area, budget, type of property), if you share it with us.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, searches, saved homes, IP address, browser and device type, and cookies.
2. How we use your data
- To create your account and log you in with an OTP.
- To publish listings and show them to tenants and buyers.
- To connect tenants and buyers with owners and brokers, and to send you alerts about enquiries, messages and visits.
- To verify listings, prevent fraud and fake listings, and keep users safe.
- To answer your support requests and complaints.
- To understand how the Platform is used and improve it, and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To follow the law and respond to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. What other users can see
When you publish a listing, its details and photos are public. Your mobile number is not shown openly on the listing page; tenants contact you through the Platform. When you reply to someone, or choose to share your number, they can see it.
4. Services we use
We share data only as needed with service providers who help us run the Platform:
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) and SMS providers, to send OTPs and alerts.
- Google Analytics, to measure visits and how the site is used.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools, to measure our ads.
- An AI service provider, which processes listing photos to label rooms (for example hall, bedroom, kitchen). Only the photos are sent, not your contact details.
- Our hosting provider, where the website and database are stored.
These providers may process data outside India, under their own security and privacy terms.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your choices (such as closed pop-ups and saved homes) and measure visits. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but some parts of the site may then not work.
6. How long we keep data
We keep your account and listings while your account is active. Messages and verification records are kept as long as needed for safety, disputes and legal reasons. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
7. Security
We use HTTPS, OTP-based login and restricted staff access to protect your data. No system is fully secure, so please never share your OTP with anyone. WagadProperties staff will never ask for your OTP.
8. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw your consent, or raise a complaint by writing to support@wagadproperties.com. You can also nominate a person to use these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity.
9. Children
The Platform is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
